Has anyone else heard of this?

WTF! I'm on the forums daily and today is the first I have heard of this. Infiniti is releasing an AWD Coupe in '09?

Gpod find. The AWD and the convertible were rumoured before the G37 was launched. Looks like at least the AWD is going to happen.

I'm more intrigued by the option of being able to get a RWD 6-speed manual Diesel Maxima in 2010.

That will rule... now if only they would port that future drivetrain into our G's.

The g37 AWD coupe is only available with automatic tranny it seems from the options. "G37x AWD Coupe, G37 Coupe 6MT, "

Are all auto's 7 speed? I just saw that as well.

Wow that g37 convertible doesn't look to bad. I thought I would never liked if our coupes became drop tops but that doesn't look bad at all.

AWD definitely new for 09. I don't really care about that, but the 09 automatics will have a 7 spd tranny.

awd 7spd auto. price tag will sure be hight 50k maybe.

and if there doing that to the G i imagine they will do the same for the Z 350hp awd.

Forget AWD, when are they gonna introduce twinsnails? We need a trim level of our car that is competitive with the M3, C63 AMG and IS-F

Aside from a V8, you're going to need some serious R&D to catch up to that pack. Twins are fine but I don't know how well that will be marketed. People in that market want big V8 with massive torque.

Well, Nissan already has a VR38 kicking around that they could switch to mass production and lower the output to 400hp from the 480. In the past, the Skyline always came as a crazy TT-AWD GT-R, a single turbo GTS-T and crappy N/A models. A 400hp RWD makes sense from that aspect.
