NEw car needed with more power
As much as I love my G35 I want a new car with bone stock more raw power.
The GT-R is only out here in 2010 in Gulf specs (so it can withstand the heat) so for now I've been eyeballing the 09 Jeep SRT8 - stock 420hp. What do you guys think? For AED 40k more - US$13k I can upgrade the SRT8 to 550hp!

I would suggest a Corvette. They are great cars and come with 436 hp stock and lighter than our G's. A top speed of 190 and quarter in 12.4 isn't bad either

how much does a corvette retail for though?
The Jeep SRT8 with full options is 47k.

Depends on the options if its fully optioned out its around 52K for the coupe. You can get a base Vette for 40k though I have seen them for as low as 39.

What about the Dodge Challenger 6.1 liter SRT8. 425hp/420tq $40k. Those are lookin pretty sweet. Challenger, Z06, and the Caddy CTS are the only Americans cars that I would consider owning.

Oh god, please don't get a fast SUV. I could never understand the attraction of making a poorly handling heavy death trap, fast. It's like some idiot at a car company thought: "Hey, you know those really profitable death traps we make? You know what would make them even more lethal and bad on gas? If we made them FAST!"

its GT-R, SRT8 or maybe the FX50 which i will check out tonight.
GT-R costs AED 430,000 here which is approx US$110 from the feckin dealer! SRT8 is power + spacious! FX50 has power but I don't know about the interior!

Save your money for something more important. I was real close to buying the C63 AMG because I also wanted something with more power, but after a week or two I was like, I already have a nice G. Gonna keep saving for a house.

If you need space, look for the cadillac CTS-V coming out, with the supercharged 6.2L..... that should give you your fix of space and speed

GT500 mustang? Plenty of power to keep you happy. (500hp stock)
And you can have waaaaay more than 550hp with $8k in mods. Probably more like 750hp. Heck, 550hp is only a few hundred bucks (pulley swap).
