Rare car called Noble!!! ***Pics***

I saw this car today and couldn't figure out what it was. It had a small plastic decal that said "Noble".

Anyone have more info on this car?

Heres the poor picture...

Looks like a Noble M12.

Heres an old Car and Driver article with some good info.
Quote:
British car magazines rave about the Noble M12. It regularly wins their sports-car comparisons and handling tests and has been known to outpace a Porsche 911 GT3 and a Ferrari Challenge Stradale in track assessments. But in the U.S., chances are you've never heard of Noble. It is part of the cottage industry of specialist sports-car makers that exist in Britain, where Noble sells about 200 of these sports cars a year.

Until now, no serious effort has been made to sell them abroad. The M12 does not meet U.S. safety regulations, but an enterprising speed shop, 1g Racing of Hamilton, Ohio (866-612-6625, www.1gracing.com), has found a way to work around that. Basically, you buy it in two parts—the car and the drivetrain—which have to be put together in the U.S. That way it is a kit car and can be licensed as such for use on the roads of America. The tab works out to about $75,000.

noble has some sick kit cars. basically they throw in a lightweight chasis paired with a euro-taurus (or was it modeo?) engine that whoops everything on track.

that and it corners at 1 g....sick

M12, M14, M15, M400....

One of those cars I plan on owning one day.

Kit cars are FTW... Ford sourced motor makes me wary

Cost is close to 100k nowadays.

They are now called Rossion. I'm with you on the duratec V6 powerplant. I would much rather see something else in there. It's a nice kit car, could be a DD with no problem.

http://www.rossioncars.com/

I have an old Car and Driver where they tested cars from a Neon SRT-4 to a 360 Challenge Stradale. The Noble M12 was in there and it was on par with the 360 and GT2.

EDIT: Where do you live?

Ahh yes, it's a Noble....!

I see Nobles occasionally in the classified adds on Autoweek along with a few
strange cars like the LC 470 that claims 0-60 in 3.3 seconds and 1.3 g's....
