2008 G35 or 2007 M35?

Curious which you would do if the prices were close. Buy a 2008 G35 with Sport/NAV/Premium, or a 2007 M35 with the same features(21k miles).

I have driven both, and like both. Can't say I love one over the other. So I am looking for pros and cons that maybe I have not thought of yet.

I currently have a 2005 G35 sedan, and I am looking to upgrade.

G35 all day son...M is too slow and too big for me...G is the perfect size

I would say go with the M if you're more worried about taking long road trips, taking out big business partners...

if you want to go faster, get the G

tough call, I like both cars,
depends on what you prefer,
sport/faster = G
VIP baller/more room = M
but if I were to get a M, I'd opt for the 4.5, it'll have more grunt

I believe the M has 275 horses and ~3800 lbs...the G 306 horses and ~3500 lbs..... G all the way..no brainer....Even the Nav on the M is not touch screen I believe for 07 ?...but I like the Sport aluminium etching is better on the M than the washi Alum trim on the G.... 1 more is the heated/cooled seats on the M.....I wish I had on the G....everything else G is the winner....

Interior in the M35's are very nice. If you want to sacrifice performance for more room and nicer interior...and sound system, go with the M. If you want to do the opposite then go G.

Or, as suggested...get a used G and save even more money.

Even the 07M35/45 is still screaming "old peoples car" I can't get over that fact, plus its not updated so its still carrying the old grunts and defects that the 1st gen G's carried.

wow interesting responses. i figured it would be all G35 votes......

yeah i have thought about an 07 G35 too, and normally i think the M is a bit of an older person's car, but the sport model, in the black, with the brown leather interior, i think it is sharp. and i love the cooled seats, since i am in sunny florida.

just curious if you guys think this is a good deal on a new G35 sedan. it is from a local dealer, who so far is the lowest price.

our G35 with navigation, sport and premium packages, trunk cargo net, splash guards, trunk mat, wheel locks, pin stripes and door edge guards...msrp is 41084... we will sell you a vehicle in our inventory for 33,500 w/out taxes, title and tags. ( this price includes a 1000 customer loyalty allowance, which you must comply with). Our offer is valid until the end of this month.

If you're willing to buy a used car (07), definitely go with an 07 G35. You could find a loaded up one in the mid $20k range no problem.

If you want a new one, wait 2 months for the 09 G37 sedan. I see no reason to buy an 08 right now (unless you get a killer killer deal).
