I'm surprised more people didn't stop to help him.... But yea, the porsche held up well considering it just slammed it's rear and roll onto it's top.... I think i'd feel safer now in one of those than a vette

Stopping on a fully-loaded 'Ring track day would be extremely dangerous. I'm sure they have rescue crews on standby for just this type of accident, and I'll bet they explicitly tell you not to stop if you see an accident. ![]() Now I'm going to go make sure the VDC is set to the ON position in my G. Roll-over's a b|tch! ![]()

he almost held it.
The only reason he crashed was because he was not used to the car. He did not know when to correct the opposite lock and snapped the other way. It takes lots of time in a car to get that right 100% of the time. Beautiful slide and he should have held it till the end of the corner with ease. He panicked and held the opposite lock for too long. ![]()

But the reason he lost it in the first place was, he braked too damn late. If you go in too hot & brake in the corner... the result is pretty much decided for you. Last edited by InTgr8r : 08-19-2008 at 02:20 PM. |
