Daily Beater

I've been daily driving my G coupe for almost 3 years and I love it. I hate driving it in the snow and in incliment weather though. I also hate having to change my rims whenever the temp gets cold so that I can have all season tires. Here are my thoughts.

Subaru has a 159 per month lease special on imprezzas with like 1k due at signing. If i figure this over the 3 year term it will cost me about 7k total for 3 years of having this car.

Here is the kicker. If i change my insurance to put my G as a low milage secondary vechicle and my subaru as a dd my insurance will go down even having 2 cars in my policy instead of 1. This will reduce the "cost" from 159 per month to about 130 per month.

Also if I do this I'll be able to mod my G more extensivly than I would want to if it was a dd. (FI here I come!)

Anyone have any input? I know the subaru doesn't have **** on the G in terms of looks/performance/luxury or anything but the fact of the matter is I don't care on a DD. I can drive my G any time I want and I don't care what people to/from work think of my car.

reliable, decent MPG, super practical.

ugly as ****, but subarus do hold their value.

Hmmm, holding the value I'm not too concerned about since I'd be leasing it. I don't really want to fork the money over to buy one since the payment would be more than double if I lease it. Good points you have though.
