New E92 M3 or slightly used Cayman S

Well what you guys think? A used 2006 Cayman S with 15Kmiles can be had for about 41K more or less. The new M3 is quite faster in straight line but a lot of people have said there's something special about the mid-engine Porsche.

The Cayman S is sweet, but the only Porsche's I would take over the E92 M3 are the Porsche 997's

A cayman s should be more in the league of E46 m3, not E90/ E92 m3... go get the new M3, this is a no brainer to me.

That's my reservation too but the M3 is really a good car. Cayman has the semi exotic look and maybe a better driver car, but the M3 has outright speed advantage. I want a car that can blow people off at stop light.

definately the M3. like skatebasist said the only porsche i would take over and e92 m3 would be the 997's or an older turbo.

I say get the Cayman S I was on the side of 1 today and they look so good...even if it is a VW chassis.

M3 all the way. The only thing Cayman has going for it is P-car status, but most people know it's not a 911 anyway. I'd say an E90 M3 has just as much status, if not more, and is a much better car.
