I recommend you check the market price of the GT2 after "Market Price Adjustment" before start saving up.

I would take a GT3 over a GT2 in terms of driving dynamic.
I would take a Cayman S over any 911 in terms of styling.

I just came from the Porsche dealership. They have a very nice GT2 in the showroom. MSRP was 216k, market adjustment was 86k!!!!!!... total.. 302k!!!!

I might be one of the very few who would take a GT3/ GT3 RS over a GT2.

It's a wonderful machine, but I don't think its worth the price over a GT3. Not to mention, a GT3 is more "race-inspired".

i'd take the 911 turbo over the gt2 or gt3. Yes yes, i know they out handle the turbo, but i like the awd. and it is more practical for me.

I'm actually not a big fan of the GT2's *** end. It's too wide compared to the front, the vents in the rear bumper and quarter panels aren't to my liking and the spoiler....well...spoils the look. I know these are all well engineered pieces meant for track application but it doesn't make them any less ugly.

Pretty good is a very loose term. Pretty good compared to its original retail price is a whole lot different than pretty good compared to my yearly college student salary.

I know there are about 18 different models of 911 for 2008... i just wanted to throw the concept out there for everyone... didnt expect it to come down to Turbo vs. GT2 vs. GT3 and such...

Anyhow... it really is irrelevant for me to honestly think I will be able to have one of these in my lifetime... I'm just in love... so I like to dream big..
