GTR Owners Chime In
So this morning I was at te dealer talking to the service manager. I was explaining to him the thread about how one persons warranty was denied due to him driving with the VDC off to long which caused a transmission mishap. He said to me whats the point of haveing an 80k car that wont go past 110mph
 ? He said that the cars are governed at 110. Is this true?

When all these rumors about the warranty came out a few weeks ago Motor Trend put an article online and said none of them were true...They said the limiter is the rev limiter for obvious reasons.

The governed cars are JDM models. US models do not have the limiter.
Also, if LC is really important to you, the GT-R is probably not for you. For 1/3 the money you can build a pretty good 1/4 mile car.
