Test Drive

I went car shopping today, and went to mercedes first, and i must say, at first i just thought the C63 AMG was just a fast C, but after driving it in person, I think i found the perfect car for me. 4 doors, fast, and one of THE best exhaust notes i've heard from a "luxury" car... I went to BMW, and the M3 was just "blah" to me after driving the C63.... Man, if only they would come down from 65k. I'd get it for the 55k sticker, but you can't get one at that, b/c all the "options" are added on after MSRP, and nothing is standard, so EVERYTHING is an "option"

The C63 AMG is a beast. But I'd still take the M3 over it in a heart beat.

Certainly is a kick *** car. Mercedes offers quite a few of amazingly exhilarating AMGs.

I'd get the M3 over the C63 for one simple reason - the M3 comes in a true manual

I can't drive a manual anyways, so that doesn't matter to me. But yea, that thing is a BEAST! I drove it with a buddy of mine, and he said every where we went, everyone around us was turning their heads looking at us, (probably wondering why that mercedes roars the way it does). But when we were in the M3, we didn't even catch any looks...

drive one.... honestly it's not just the "it" factor... The thing handles well, loads of torque (feels fast at 3k rpm), and brakes really well.... I would never be able to handle the C63 or M3 at it's limits anyways, so for everyday driving, C63 ftw...

I have driven it, but i had surgery on one of my elbows, and the limited range of motion, really doesn't agree with it, so i drive auto, and with no shame either...

You really can't go wrong with either car, but the M3 is an easier car to control if you lay on the gas. But if your not in a rush just wait a year and get a slightly used C63 AMG for a lot less than what they are asking, Or you can find a used E55 with low miles for 30k.

Nothing wrong with a RWD sedan that's hard to control

The RS4 is a good car, but it just does nothing for me. Despite the angry V8 under the hood, it's such a plain jane looking car.
