29 2009 GTR's for sale on Ebay

Seems like a lot for a rare car like this. And most are not selling for a premium.

I'd be afraid of buying one used without knowing how many times launch control was used by the previous owner.

and it sounds like you don't know the car very well...

because if a certified dealer says it's ok, the previous owner could've launched it 10000 times, doesn't matter, nothing is broke, so there is nothing claimed under warranty that was destroyed while vdc was 'off'.

however, there are thousands of people making similar statements, but there are only 7,500 gt-r's coming to the u.s., so not everyone will get even a chance to turn one down.

but then again, i believe the majority of those people can't/won't get one anyway, and this is their excuse for not getting one...

i, on the other hand, would love to pick one up used. if you know anybody who is selling a used one, let me know.

the ones on ebay are selling a bit too fast, or asking too much.

yea and the point the guy was trying to make was you dont know how many times its been launched, so you dont know if the trans would just randomly blow. Regardless spending that much money u want to know 100% the cars history...thats just me. i can sell u a car thats been neutral dropped a few times, but its "certified" u still want?

you can also add to the note of no matter what they say is certified if you pop open the blackbox on the car and VDC has ever been turned off you have voided warranty to begin with....

So take it to nissan and have it checked, if they havent disabled vdc then they haven't used launch control and its all good, it should only take all of 2 minutes to do.

again, it sounds like you don't know it very well either...

i'm going to assume that you don't know how long the data is recorded.

i'll also assume that you don't know how to clear it...

and also you probably aren't familliar with much else dealing with it, so you'd be better off buying one new.

(i'm also not that savvy when it comes to buying used cars, but i'm pretty familiar with the gt-r in this regard)
