The way things are going lately on this forums seems the G35 has become the new Civic/Integra. It pains me to no end to feel that but I do.

I really hope the kids in my local area don't have enough money to pick up these cars just to ruin them with rattle can wheels and Autozone wings.

I think that a lot of ricers that buy these cars on a low budget will wind up getting rid of them since they are too costly to 'rice' out.


And if it winds up that way, I will most definetly total the car and get something else.

You can pick up a G for well under 20k now... Yea, it's becoming like a Civic... But it's not like there were never any ricers ricing out the G until now... not all kids are ricers, and not all ricers are broke.

I mean that's the thing. My plan is to keep the G but whether I love the car or not I don't want to be cruising in the "new rice".

The truth is that most people don't know anything about cars, and even if you just put on a nice set of wheels and lower your car, the average person is going to think you're a ricer. That's just how it is, so I wouldn't worry about being considered rice, because we probably already are to the mass public.

As far as the G35 being the new Civic, it certainly is getting cheap to get one of these cars but it eventually happens with every car. That's just how it is, cars aren't an appreciating asset. I'm keeping my car for at least another 5 years, so imagine the day when I can buy a G35 for $5k.

I don't let it get me down because I love my car, it's the car I've always wanted, and it is of no concern to me what other people do to their G35. I feel like I've made tasteful mod choices, paid reputable shops to have the work done right the first time, and I think everything I've done enhances the cars performance and looks, and at the end of the day if you really love your car, that should be enough.

Not to add fire to the flames or bash anyone BUTT, seen lots of newbies around here buying 03' and 04' coupes for 14-18K. They seem to have 50-60K and, clutches that slip, bad tires and worn brakes. Not sure if those are much of anything you can compare to our $30k+ cars with low mileage we bought years ago. Oh, well as long as it's something they enjoy.

we beensaying this for months. with the crappy companys making stuff for the car its goig ot get worse. once people started putting rotas on this car i knew it was over.
