Well i already have the 06..I was thinking of selling the 06, going down there, buying that one.. OR just exporting my 06

Dont worry about Warranty/KBB/ those dont apply in panama..lol

i would try to send your car over there, but if its going to cost too much you might as well sell it here and buy a car over there. I suggest getting a newer model m3 because if things break on it would the mechanics there be knowledgeable to fix it?

yeah im so lost on what to do..

If i send my 2006 there, itll cost me around $7-8k total.. (import taxes/shipping fees)

BUT, the car prices there are ****ing high.. the KBB on that 2001 being sold is like $15k, but the guy wants like $28k for it..

Thats how panama is, used cars that sell in USA for $20-22k(like our G), would sell for $30k there,

new cars that sell for $50k here would sell for around $65k there, and the specs over there suck.. the car has the same model name but itll have smaller engine, no abs, etc, and its not same build quality.

ALso there is NO infiniti dealership there, just nissan.. so parts might be a problem for me.. who knows how similar 350Z parts are to G35 parts?

idk.... M3's are sick a$$ cars but your 06 is newer and more reliable IMO.

If it were an 03+ I would trade my G before I even had a chance to blink

If you makes you feel better, all the parts on your "Infiniti" are already Nissan. You just pay more for them since Infiniti is Nissan's luxury brand. However, since it's basis was the united states market, you won't find Infiniti in many other areas of the world.

If you've always wanted an M3, then sell your G and buy that one. If not, I would keep the G. I can almost garuntee it's going to be more comfortable. And an 06 G is comparible in performance to an 01 M3...may even be better depending on how well the car was kept. While the M3 is a beastly name, not all productions years were. I think there was a dip from 99-05. But, I'm no Bimmer expert.

Another advantage to the G, is now that you know you have a Nissan, you can buy the less expensive parts from a Nissan dealer. There's nothing inexpenisive about a Bimmer. Even the family sedanish 3 series require 80 dollar oil changes.

The G is a better car in THIS situation unless you've just always wanted an M3.

01 M3's suck. they had all sorts of mechanical problems. Get an 03 or up if you are going to get an M3. IMHO

Bro are you sure nissan 350z parts will work for my g35.. this is a big selling point for me..

There is no nissan skyline(g35) sold in panama.. the dealerships only have parts for other nissans, and 350Z's.. so if i need a part, will the 350Z work for me? the part issue is what im worried about..

from my understanding you can use most 350z parts on a G35. i know some suspension parts are different. try calling your local dealership and have them verify it. the G35/350z is virtually the same car so if you were to take it to a nissan dealership in panama most of their techs there should have the knowledge to work on it or at least have the general knowledge.

engine and tranny parts are shared with the 350z. Even if you need Infiniti cosmetic parts, that Nissan dealership should be able to order for you.
