how our g's compare?

how would our g's(03 6mt coupe) compare in a track race to a new stock charger r/t.

or how would we compare to a 06 or 07 evo.. idk what model.

out of the dig, rolls and overall.

Are you actually going to be putting your G on a track? If so then I'll tell you that all cars being stock here goes

EVO>G35 Coupe 6MT>>>>Charger R/T.....if you are talking about a real "track". If you are talking 1/4 mile then I'm not even going to comment.

The G does surprisingly well on the track, all things considered. I was right behind 350z's and I have faster lap times than modified Solstice/Skyy/Cooper S's. If you want a dedicated track car though then I suggest you look somewhere else. However, if you want a very nice daily driver that can accomidate 2 to 4 people and sees occasional track usage then the G is an excellent platform to work with. Although I have never driven the EVO I have sat in one and I don't think it would make a good daily driver. Don't get me wrong, it would be fun to drive, just not for me. The Charger doesn't even get consideration in my book simply because it's only offered with a 4 speed automatic transmission....and a crappy one at that.

i already have a g lol. but i was at the track today.. well ill be honest, this is street racing but its LEGAL. my dad owns a street thats almost a mile long. well we close the street somes times and race. the cops know we do it and there fine with it. they even watch sometimes. i was there hanging out and was washing my car and 2 guys pulled up in a orange charger r/t and wanted to know if i wanted to close the road and race them. i said no not today because i have to notify the police to do it. but i just wanted to know if i would win???? same thing occured with a really nice stock evo. BUT THIS IS TOTALLY LEGAL AND SUPERVISED!

so this is a straight drag race? private road or not I wouldn't do it. If you are doing this on your dad's property then he is liable for injuries...just to let you know.

Anyway, who knows what has been done to the Charger. Stock for stock it would theoretically be a close race. This is where mods and driver ability come into play.

I'm going to step out of this and not get your hopes up anymore because I think it's stupid in the first place. Take this to a real track, your dad's homeowners insurace would not be happy if they found this out. And as far as the cops watching and not giving a crap...just wait until someone wrecks, then see them change their perspective.

its pretty much a very safe area. the only people thar have actually have race are me my dad my grandpa and one of the other owners. we do know the liability and we do take the chance because the closest track is about 5 hours away so. its worth is and this was a forsay question that i really wanted to know. thanks for the info though

my dad owns a industrial construction company, and we build busniess parks with 15 to 20 building in each. we own all the property and all the buildings that go through it. the road is paved and has lines but its a private road kind of. its wierd but we do own it.

nooo lol my grandpa is still the owner and it was not turned over to my dad yet so my gramp gets all of the money.. im not rich but with i was lol. i do work for the company but the only money i get is a hard earned paycheck... but someday after i get out of busniess school i will own it!!!!

stock for stock it will be a drivers race. if the rt is modified then he will take you on the short distance if you get a chance to race on the long distance you'll catch up.

if your modified and he is not youll pull ahead by a bumper or so.

ive raced my buddies rt charger (who now traded it in for a 07 g35) we were both stock. it was nose to nose all the way up to third gear. he was using the sport shifter and i of course was manual.
