Dexcool settlement came today (GM, Alero, Grand Am, etc.)
$400, I can hardly believe it. Anyone else here submit a claim? My claim # was 20,700 and I know a lot of people missed out on this. Everyone on grandamgt.com used to complain that GM should have done a recall on the 3400 engine head gasket because almost all of them leaked. My wife's '99 Alero was one of them and it cost me $450 to replace. Class action settlement check just came in the mail today for the max ammount of $400. Both GM and Dexcool are part of the settlement and neither one admits guilt, etc., etc.
