This video shows a comparison between the two. What's interesting is that the 350Z got walked by a 300ZX TT.

The 300zx TT would have killed it if not for the bad start. By killing it I didn't mean as bad as some of the other races, but by a couple of car lengths.

I think the Z did well considering the TT.
It's better initial torque took over at the start and got the jump, but the TT got the better of the Z once it spooled up.
Overall not a bad race. Fairly even but the TT is quicker.
