So I had to drive an RSX for the last 3 days
g/f and I went to Vegas...I would have taken my G but we just went to Laughlin with some friends two weeks ago, and I was trying to save a little bit on gas.
Man when I had my Civic the RSX was PIMP. So comfortable and fast. But now...thats the last time I go 3 days without my car! 2004 Twilight Blue Coupe 6MT Premium Package Aero Package |

Re: So I had to drive an RSX for the last 3 days
Wasnt totally "bad". Just a couple of things:
1. Their seats cant compare to the G35. No butt support AT ALL. 2. Neither can the interior or road/wind noise. Way noisier. 3. Power. Period. I can pass cars at will in my G...with the RSX I had to think about my moves a little bit more and make sure I had enough time to get up to speed so I could get around someone (p.s. it was an auto) But mainly I was missing the 280hp badly. I've never driven a RSX-S though. Oh yeah and one more thing...the G feels way steadier at 100mph, and I didnt even try to go faster than that in the RSX. 2004 Twilight Blue Coupe 6MT Premium Package Aero Package |

I dont think the g35 and rsx (or rsx-s) really compare, but for the price of the rsx, i think its a great car personally.

Re: So I had to drive an RSX for the last 3 days
you talkin about the base RSX? maybe if it was the type-s it would have been a bit fun? 200hp for that size is pretty quick, mid to high 6s 0-60? the shifter is way better than our G's, one of the best, short, sure and like butter. those 3rd gear WOT on these vtec engines is addicting. 100mph should be easy for the type-s, although it's stableness, quietness at that speed would not compare to the G, but still ok. but yeah, if you came from the G, i would feel the same. but if i were to get an import of that price range, ill probably take it over the wrx and celica.

Re: So I had to drive an RSX for the last 3 days
yeah, base rsx cannot compare to type s, essentially.
though i test drove one when i was car shopping--didn't really appeal to me. much easier to corner in than say an srt-4, but still felt like a boat to me. |
