What car should i get in July of 2010?

I know it is still more than a year away, but my 2 year lease on my G37 ends at that time. I used to have a G35 and I have loved driving an Infiniti for the past 5 years. I might just end up getting the latest version of the G37.

Do you guys know what cars would be a good option that will be out at that time? Is the Lexus IS getting a re-design. I am kind of leaning toward an AWD but 6MT since I want to drive it year round.

EDIT: Price range should be around that of a G37 or a little more... 35-45k

audi a5 quattro? a friend of mine drives one, and though when looking at the specs, it's not as fast as other 50k cars... It's just plain beautiful inside and out... I'm thinking about picking one up around x-mas...

Infiniti build a great car but variety is the spice of life. For me the hunt is all the fun. Looking, test drives, choices. Take the year and look around.

You still exist OP? I recall you selling your G35 years ago and disappeared. Didn't realized you're rolling around in a G37.

Personally, I think AWD is overrated and unnecessary where you're located especially if you're looking for a 6mt car. Unless you were looking for a Subaru or Audi, I wouldn't stress having AWD. 11 months out of the year you don't need AWD if you're concerned about weather. Around here, we get 2-3 days of snow dust and often times, the whole area shuts down and everyone telecommutes. Besides, even if you were to venture out in an AWD, most of them are not equipped with tires to handle more than a dusting of snow. You'll still need to invest in snow tires regardless. Save yourself some bucks up front by just getting a RWD car and have a set of snow tires on hand. For the better part of the year, you'll be glad you did. If you're set on seeking a refined AWD 6mt, you're going to be limited on your selection or end up spending big bucks on a German car.

Hey, I actually turned my G35 in last July for my G37. Good advice on the AWD requirement.
