Anyone driven or owned a MazdaSpeed 6

What did you think of it? How did it compare to the G in terms of handling, power, braking, etc.?

Everything I've heard and read about them has been very good.

It's a small turbo in it from the factory, so all your power is <100mph. It's not a bad little car. Nice interior. IMO, the G35 is a much nicer all around performer and looker.

I had a speed 6 before i got my G35x. The speed 6 was slightly faster, had a much more aggressive/sporty feel when driving, and had a very good radio, much better than the g35's. The only thing i didn't like about it was that it had a lot of body roll. The brakes were 100X better than the G35x's as well. The clutches on them are hard to get used to, but for the price, the speed 6 was one of my favorite cars ever.

I want a speed3 for a daily driver. My wife has a 5-door Mazda3 sport and it's a great little car.

MazdaSpeed3 >>> MazdaSpeed6!

The Speed3 is a cool little rocket, would be a great DD.

Cool man - thanks for the input. The things I've read about/researched all say similar things to what you mention. I think I'll put it on my list of possibilities when my lease ends.

I agree. A coworker of mine has one and it's a nice little car but being in the Northeast I would want the AWD.

If you pull the e-brake up one click on the speed 6 the back wheels disengage so its like 99% FWD.
