I love the sound of the stock setup on the 08. Once again, I think Honda made some great choices for intake and exhaust noises to compliment the mechanical noise of a hard working little engine. Drive it for a month or two and then decide if you'd like something different. A CAI kit is a Saturday afternoon install and easily reversed.

For me, it's all about being able to corner 1-2 mph faster on impossibly tight turns with changes in elevation and often banking to the outside of a turn. Weight, weight, weight.

Hope that helps.
Btw, this is the trunk lip spoiler that I purchased.

The OEM trunk lid spoiler looks much better than the OEM wing spoiler IMHO. Glad you didn't opt for the wing.

I'm definitely not a "wing" type of person, not my taste at all. I much prefer the subtle/conservative look.

Sound? Take the airbox cover off to expose the filter. You will heat-soak much quicker if you come to a stop (~10 seconds instead of ~20), but the sound is amazing . VTEC will, quite litterally, go from a subtle bump in sound to screaming. Keep in mind that it IS a slight power loss. The airbox is designed to eliminate resonances and turbulance; the increased sound is from the increased turbulance, which reduces air sucked into the engine.

I run airbox off for daily driving, and on for track/canyon duty.

VTEC crossover: (won't be this extreme, but you get the point =P)

Well, I am currently in Chicago and have picked up my S2000. I guess you could say that I've had a perma grin for the last couple of hours.

On the down side, I brought a bunch of MF towels and my QD with me in my suitcase and it leaked pretty bad. My entire wardrobe now smells like Poorboys Spray & Wipe!!
