Yea, the Ferraris are going to be fun, still immensly jealous.

Glad to hear you had a good summer, Shane. Whens the sad date to put her in storage?

^ It will be garaged sometime this month, although I am hoping to drive it to the end of the month though.

Hey garnet, how do you compare the s2k to your G? right now i have an 04 coupe w/brembos. It will be about another 8 months before i make my purchase, but im torn between the G35xS and the S2000 CR. I love both cars, ive driven a regular rag topped s2 and the g35xS on several occasions. I dont have the need for rear seats, i dont have a family, its just me and my GF, and she has a 08' Jeep Cherokee. How do you like the s2? any problems? I just want to make the right decision, living in NJ im just not sure how the S2 will fair with a slight amount of snow on the ground. Granted my job is only 10-15 minutes away, and ive driven in the snow with the G with summer tires. Im genuinely torn between these two vehicles, even both my pro and cons list for both is about equal. I need help!

If you are deciding on a daily driver all year around, the G35xS will certainly be the wiser choice. I just got my S2k this summer and certainly don't plan on ever driving it in the winter months, so unfortunately I am not able to comment on how it performs in the snow. During the days that the roads are snow covered, are you able to get a drive to work in your GF's Cherokee? Driving a car (whether it be your G, an S2k, or any other type of vehicle) in the winter with summer tires is really asking for trouble. Even when driving on dry pavement, running summer tires in cold temps is asking for it. The decision is yours, however no matter what you decide, definitely don't run summer rubber in the winter, even if you only live 10-15 mins away from work.

If I lived in a place like SoCal or Florida I wouldn't hesitate for one second having an S2K as a daily driver. But for my climate or yours, I'd have a hard time recommending it. G35xs wins here for sure.

I purchased it from the US so it will be a little while before it's in my driveway. Can't wait for some summer cruising!
Congrats!!! Goes well with your Infiniti..... They complement each other in
style and design.
