Finally Pulled The Trigger

So as some of you may know, I've been wanting to pick up an S2000 just as a summer toy for quite some time. I've been putting it off for one reason or another but today I finally pulled the trigger and bought one. I ended up with a 2005 in New Formula Red. I purchased it from the US so it will be a little while before it's in my driveway. Can't wait for some summer cruising!

Way to go, Shane. Make sure you screw your cap down tight so the wind won't take it.

Here's the one I purchased, although kinda crappy pics. I've driven S2000s a number of times but they've always been AP1s......so I've never driven an AP2. Looking forward to it.

I'm assuming AP2 means the revised version with the 2.2L motor with 8500rpm redline? I like the looks of the updated version but the idea of a motor reving to 9000rpms is something special in itself.

Nice car regardless. I've always wanted one as a summer toy as well.

I got it for $14,800 USD, which was a fantastic deal. My first choice was Rio Yellow but I couldn't pass up this deal. No free shipping. It's located in Chicago so I will be flying there and driving it back home. Should be a great road trip with it.
