That's not exactly new, I remember from my VW days that was called Ratz style or something like that...lol. I never liked it but I have seen a FEW cars that look okay.

I like the bmw. Interesting. But I wonder if you could get the rust pattern down and clear it or something to keep it from ruining the rest of the car.

Probably an Euro fad. Just a diff one. Nothing diff than flat black primer look or the overly skinny tires on way too wide of wheels type of thing.

How do you get the panels to rust without having them deteriorate and lose their structural rigidity over time?
