With a 0-60 of under 6 seconds, yes you can rape plenty of faces, and change, on the road. 95% of the time, at least where I am, most cars are underpowered relative to the G. Indeed there are more powerful cars out there, but due to the fact that

1) there are expensive
2) the average american salary is around 50k/yr
3) fewer people mod their cars for performance

there aren't that many. How many times do you come across a 335i, IS350 or M3 on an average day?

I think I am spot on, 306HP isnt a lot relative to a vette for instance, but relative to most cars driven out there, its a lot. I do know what I am talking about.

well, in socal we are flooded w/ 3 series, M3s, amg's, etc. etc. esp in LA. my 1st gen is so slowwwww. but i still love it. i'll only punch it and feel all 260 roaring horses on freeway onramps when no one else is around lol

Sorry for my ignorance, you are right. I did notice that on the west coast, there are far more lambos, amgs, ferraris etc on an avrg day than on the east coast. I guess people over there are doing quite well, but then you consider that the east coast has wall street??? I wont wreck my brains on this but its true (maybe its the winters). You also find more cars modded over there than the east coast as well.

and half of the people driving these nice rides probably rent instead of own, have their rides as leases, and live way beyond their means.

I really dont think its the vehicle being driven (although there are a few exceptions); its the freakin gender. My experience has led me to believe one thing: Most women should have their licenses revoked and car impounded. They genuinly SUCK at operating a motor goddam vehicle properly, or even normally for that matter. I drive on the GCP everyday, theres always some feakin lady who wants you to move faster even though your cars nose is sniffing up another cars a$$hole...most of them even have the nerve to fly into the left lane and squeeze infront of you anyway...sorry for the long rant

east coast has public transportation, and most wall streeters take black cars after they've reached a certain level. fancy cars are harder to take care of over there too due to the weather, roads, and high parking costs. people are just as, if not more, wealthy as the folks on the west coast, they just don't show it by what they drive.

people on the west coast like to drive their wealth around...even if they aren't wealthy. add in a more driving oriented lifestyle and you'll naturally see faster & more expensive cars on the west coast.

soooo, IMO, 306HP is right in his comparison to most cars he encounters on the road, its just that an exception has to be made for the west coast (socal in particular).
