Looking at 300zx TT, need input

I so i had boughten a 93 tt back in Jan but sold it a month later (i know im still kicking myself) but i came a cross another one

here is what the add says
"1991 300zx Twin Turbo, 96,000 miles, Jim Wolfe chip, 5 speed manual, T-Tops with inserts, Leather, Adjustable suspension, nearly 400 horse power, Adult owned non smoker, Garaged, 2 amps, XM Radio, Ipod/mp3 connection."

he wants 10k for it and i dont think its worth that much and 400hp i call bs because i had the same mods on the last one and put out around 350hp

i know ima have to replace/fix seat and taillights (look like some one nutted on them or smashed them see pics)

also the passanger side skirt is all bubbly in the paint

the drivers door has a dent on the B piller which i dont know how to go about fixing it and there is a wired line on the dash

now the car is 5 hours away, in the state next to me so if i buy it i dont even know if i can legaly drive it and how insurance works or home made intransits etc.

im looking for input basicly, low miles, sweet color but idk

and i did send an email to the owner about working on the price but i haven heard any thing yet (still kinda early no bigge)

10k! Thats a lot considering all the cosmetic stuff thats wrong with it, i almost bought a 90 with 80k on it for 6 instead of my g but insurance would have raped me, and that thing was almost perfect. I think you can find one thats in a lot better condition for cheaper. i say unless he drops the price keep looking

i actually found a 97 kouki with s15 engine swap, ps, a/c and widebody molded body kit in mint condtion for 10k but for some reason i want TTops or vert

i cant blame you ttops are awesome and the tt 300zx is an amazing car. one of the sexiest cars for under 15k

Molded body kits are actually gayer than men having sex with men. But still, I can't understand the Z32 fixation, a Kouki S14 is a much better, faster, lighter, more modern, more attractive car. It has everything on the Z32.

Keep on looking, you can see that the car has been repainted, and I would be worried about the white paint that you can see above the strut towers on the passengers side.

Also you can see that the door pillar and quarter panel don't line up.

Please keep in mind that a pristine condition Z32 will cost 15K+, you will be better off getting a higher mileage example and using the money saved for an upgraded engine and other mods. Just be sure to get one with no body work done to it.

I bought my 94 tt back in 2003 for 8000, with 60k miles, full suspension, leather, tint, Bose, 18" superleggera wheels, etc. Keep looking. You can find Z32's for around 4-5k that are in better condition than the one advertised.

Hmm, that car looks pretty good, but I just can't stand the fact that the kit is moulded. It's not just that it looks gay, almost anything can cause it to crack. If you're really low, and hit something, it'll crack. The other thing is, I'm curious WHY it was moulded to begin with. Most people know that that sh1t belongs in the 90's and don't do it anymore, but it's a great way to cover up panel misalignment from an accident. It's shady, imo. Pass on it.

idk i looked up the dudes past history and threads and it all looks legit plus molded kits look nicer imo i mean it looks cleaner but you are right some times they are there to cover stuff up

Depends on your preferences I guess. When I see that the seams are missing, the car just looks wrong to me. It's like the shape of it has been ruined. The seams give lines and shape to the car, without them it just becomes an egg.

I had a z almost exactly like that... '91, 75k miles, ~400hp. I sold it for around $7500 a little more than a year ago. I'd say $10k is too high of a price.
