Correct. It has 2 V8 engines that are mated at the crank. Making it a W16 quad turbo monster

The Veyron is a W16 James. It's two V8's mounted together to form a W of cylinders. It's got four turbos, four intercoolers, and like 9 radiators.
Bugatti says 1000whp, but it's pretty widely accepted that it has over 1300whp.
