Performance Battle: Camaro 2LT V6 vs G35???

Has anybody ever wondered how their coupe will fair against the new Camaro 2LT V6?

If your wondering, this may help.

Any opinions on how the coupe will measure up in terms of performance against the V6 Camaro?

Looks like their gas mileage is better though.

Is it just me or does this modded exhaust sound similar to some of the coupes aftermarket systems???

Doesnt sound to bad.

Whats nice about the Camaro V6 vs the Mustang or Challenger V6s is that you get to atleast keep SOME performance. While the other 2 are dogs, the Mustang can actually compete.

I think the crapmaro is ugly. The rear looks terrible, the front end is pretty nice looking though. These are the next mid life crisis -mobile. I do no like.

As genius said, would take the CTS. (sedan)

Better gas mileage, slower car. I believe the Camaro's 0-60 time is 6.1, while our cars are what, 5.6? I know, I know, it's a 0-60 but it's still something. However, the quarter mile time is pretty similar.

But whatever. It's a SEVEN year newer car, 2010 vs. 2003, it should outperform the G35, but in fact it is equal or lesser in performance. However, it is much cheaper, but that's because It's not a luxury car. I don't think it's very impressive IMO.

While the G would out perform it in a straight line ( I have no clue as to braking and turning ), the V6 in the camaro is the base motor and it weighs 3800lbs or something like that. Remeber that the camaro doesn't depend on the V6 to perform ( only to keep V6 owners somewhat happy ), it rather depends on the 426hp V8.

It's pretty impressive that their bottom of the line V6 offering puts out nearly as much power as Infiniti's top of the line offering. (abeit the older version)

As said, I'd be okay with the direct injected 300hp motor in something like the cts. Although I'd REALLY like the CTS-V. But that thing is $60,000+!
