I haven't driven one Wayne, but I did sit in a couple when I was in NH not all that long ago. I don't mind the exterior looks, but the interior is just plain garbage. Honestly the worst interior I've seen in a very long time. There was a recent article on CD, and they slammed the interior as well.

I guess everyone has a different opinion. I don't mind the interior because i get the design they were going at (retro fun kinda look) and the exterior looks pretty awesome IMO. V8 grunt with easy moddability. Seems like a winner in my eyes...

Janik, I'm old enough (too old) that I was around when the Camaro was hot, in the late 60's and now they tried to go retro but this new one is huge and cumbersome compared to the original. Granted the motor in the new SS has gobs of power, but thats where it ends, and having been in both I would take the original model any day.

The same can be said about the new Challenger, it does not compare to the original Challenger?Cuda of the late 60s early 70s. I owned and raced a 440 Cuda and have been in lots of 426 Hemi cars, those things ROCKED.

Yep, everyone has different tastes and opinions. For me, not only is the interior design absolutely horrible, the quality and materials used were the worst I've seen in a long time. I just couldn't pay that price tag and live with an interior so terrible......no matter what the performance specs are. The exterior styling is attractive though.

choosing between the two, I would of gone g35, since the camaro is a v6.

Camaro interior isn't compared to the G, but if you want that awesome looking, muscle look then the Camaro is the car to have. All though they only run the 1/4 mile in 13.4..est. SS version

They will never be the same. This one is plastic. The originals were like, metal, and are also worth a lot more now.

I like them still though, regardless ahaha. I dont think i'd ever buy one but if i had a choice between this, a Mustang and a Challenger. I'd definatly get the Camaro.

Having both (more or less) the G35 is far superior in build quality and comforts. There is no disputing the HUGE power you get with the SS, but it's a BIG F CAR. It does great in a straight line, but only "ok" in the twisties (according to the test drive shows on t.v.). The G does both very well. ya, I've had several Porsches too.
My list: for "Sports car" (bang for the buck)
1. corvette Z06
2. G35
3. 350z (cramped)
4. Camaro SS/Challenger SRT/Mustang Shelby
5. Lexus is-f (fricken incredible car, but pricey)
6. Porsche

I haven't got to drive a GTR yet, but the price/reliability wouldn't score high on my list.

under the 2LT option, it says the V8 engine is not available, only the v6, so definitely the engine size is included in the package.

2LT
3.6L V6 Engine with 304 HP Standard

6.2L V8 Engine Not Available

Thing is, the 2nd gen is on par with the v6 camaro and according to some comparisons it's slightly faster to 60.
