I know that the car magazines had some complaints about the build quallity of last years car, I'm hoping the Aussies's get their act together........

I think this car will draw a lot more attention in the market. They did say that the interior is the best GM had to offer in a sporty car in a long time, with maybe the exception of the new Corvette or the Cadillac XLR......

I wouldn't mind having one in my garage, but I might select another color....................

I agree, the rear is very 'Camaro-ish', and the 'Firebird type, side dump exhausts' don't do it for me. I'm used to trumpets, or twin tips now. Nothing else is as good (to me).
If I were going for this type of ride, I'd have to choose the Cobra Mustang hands down.

i think it looks pretty hot. they didnt go overboard on the styling. very simple with a few extras. i like it. if i dont get a corvette in 2006, this maybe next on the list.

IMHO, it reminds me of a chevy cavalier from the side and kinda from the back. I think GTO's are ugly. I just dont dig the pontiac look from the front either. Ill give it to the GTO that they r damn fast tho. Thats about it.

Styling is way too bland for my tastes. The old 2001-2004 E46 M3, the 2004-2005 Acura TL and the 2003-2005 G35 Coupe look WAY BETTER and these cars have been around for a while. The US version of this Pontiac is brand new and has a chance to take styling cues from BMW, Acura and Nissan yet they chose to ignore perfection. It's a shame to waste all that power on a "bland" vehicle.

Remind me why I wouldn't just buy a ~$40,000, 2004 Corvette Z06 right now instead of waiting for this car to come to the market???

It looks a lot better than the regular GTO. Its amazing what some scoops, intakes, flares, spoiler, and some nice wheels can do to spruce up an otherwise very bland car. This is what the new GTO should have looked like from the beginning. Now if they'll just throw in the new 400 horse LS2, or even better yet the next LS7 (rumored to have 500hp), they'll have a real winner.

Those wheels are really sweet - and those tires look HUGE, like 315's at least, maybe 335s.
