Raced an SRT-6

I'm confused. I thought the SRT-6 hadn't come out yet. Today I was cruising home from work and a crossfire pulled up on my ***. I sped up a bit and he stayed on me. We both hit it and I pulled away but to be honest it's possible he didn't want to be right on my butt going 90 (who would?). So the next light is red and has 2 lanes wide open. We as we are pulling up to it we slowed down to probably somewhere around 25mph. The light switched before we got there and his nose was at my tail. We both hit it and I slowly pulled away. I was really impressed by the speed on that thing. I figured he either had some major mods or it was the new srt-6. I don't know those cars inside an out so I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference by just looking at it but I was impressed.

Re: Raced an SRT-6

Is your car stock? Because actually an SRT-6 should pull away from a G35C. Motor Trend was able to pull a 4.9 sec. 0-60 from an SRT-6, and a quarter mile of 13.3 @ 107.4. The G35C does 0-60 in 5.7 sec, and a quarter mile of 14.6 @ 99.

So if your G is stock, then I would have to say he probably wasn't going WOT, maybe because he's still breaking the car in. Because under normal circumstances, you should have gotten smoked.

No im S/C'd. When did those come out? I even called a chrysler dealership to see about ordering them and he said he didn't know when it would be available.

They've been available since June-July, I haven't seen any around yet though.

Re: Raced an SRT-6

SRT-6 will have a silver trim around the front windsheild, all along the A-pillar and above the glass. N/A Crossfires will have body colour.

It's still a G thang!!
