3 Million $ car

Was watching Barret Jackson car auction today with my paps. They were selling a 1958 (i think, it was old) Plymoth F88 concept car (only one in the world) and this guy in a full Ferrari outfit bought it for 3 million, anyone see this and what do you think about it

It was an Oldsmobile!

My wife and go to Barret Jackson every year. Not to buy, but to enjoy the party like atmosphere and see the cars. If you are a car person at least once you must make it out to Scottsdale and see the B.J. If you love to people watch the Barret Jackson is second to none. You will see actors, millionaires with their "arm candy" girlfriends that are younger than their daughters, and professional athletes.

We were at the B.J. yesterday when that guy bought the concept car for $3,000,000 (crazy), this guy was bidding on numerous cars. It was something to watch.

I watched that auction I think it was live about 7 pm Eastern time, and it was very exciting.
A new record for a B/J auction .
The ride was a '54 Oldsmobile F-88 Convertible GM Concept car and was purchased by a rep from a museum being built in Colorado. He was crying after the auction over the stress and elation of bidding and winning.

I wonder what it's like to spend $3,000,000 on a car............wow.
I'll bet it's enough to bring tears to anyone's eyes.......

C.

Well first, since this car is one of a kind literally, it will only increase in value....hence an investment. Secondly, this guy purchased multiple vehicles before the oldsmobile.......so my guess is that he could afford to also buy a McLaren if he wanted one.

I love how people think that this is "nuts". If he's making this purchase and investment you can only imagine what he has in his stable. He was wearing a full Ferrari outfit- for all anyone knows, he has an Enzo...

There is only one of these in the world.....you cant get any more rare than that.

I don't see why everyone thinks this guy is crazy. Three million bucks might seem like a lot of money to spend on a car to us......but it's all relative when you've got the bucks!!
