Even though the I35 was a really good car it was a glorified Maxima and has always been criticized for that. So I’m glad they dropped the I35, so Infiniti can have an image, as the true performance Japanese luxury brand since all they have now is RWD and AWD vehicles. And I hope they keep this trend.

i miss my old i35.. i was one out of a few people to do anything to an i35. i didnt do much, only clear corners/clear headlight housing/ otto strut bar and red painted addico sway bar, but that was sure more than the majority of 60 year old grandparents did to their cars haha plus i think im like the only person to ever take an i35 to the tracks hahahahaha

Those I35s are nice, but i knew they were gonna stop production. Because i asked the salesman at the dealership lol.

Only problem with that is the QX56. That big honken thing is an Armada and looks like one to. If they made that thing, I'm pretty sure they will keep making cars that look like Nissan.

Yea, they took a step backward with the QX56, but they still have a well rounded performance luxury lineup i.e. the FX, G35, and the new M.

A great ride, but not needed since the Max is a decent alternative.
I had the maxima and loved it, but personally wouldn't have paid extra just for the Infiniti nameplate.

R.I.P I35.

I think the i35 (30) was nicer inside than the previous Maxima, I don't know what a loaded one was like, but I liked the appearance of the i better.

I agree. With the exception of the Sequoia/GX470 and Landcruiser/LX470 (& maybe some style similarities bet. Solara and SC430), I dont see much of a resemblance between Toyota and Lexus.

The ES330 sure looks like an upscale Camry to me!
