RARE 1991 Galant VR4 Turbo/AWD 1813/2000 -Tons of Pics- Pensacola, FL $5,500obo

Long story short, the Military is forcing me move to the East Coast. As a result, my Galant VR4 has to go.

The car is a 1991 Mitsubishi Galant VR4. It is factory AWD and equip with 4 wheel steering and a turbocharger. This car is 1813/2000 imported in 1991, and 1 of only 3000 ever imported into the US from Japan. This car also didn't come with a sunroof, which adds to its rarity. It has been repainted BMW Estoril Blue. 151xxx on chassis, 1000 or so miles on motor. I have listed the major mods I can think of, but I'm sure there are some I have missed. In addition, I have replaced tons of other OEM stuff (New OEM Mitsu knock sensor, front A-arms, strut mounts, etc, etc) and have receipts for everything that was purchased. Build Thread

I'd rate the exterior a 7 out of 10. I recently painted the hood black because it looked like crap before. The rest of the car was painted by the PO (previous owner). The car looks good at standing distance, but it has some flaws. No rust on the car anywhere. PO also cut up the hood for an über Evo look, so car needs to be covered in heavy rain, or the plug wells get flooded (ask me how I know...).

Interior looks pretty good. I replaced what plastic bits I could find with newer or better looking pieces. No rips or tears, and carpet looks pretty good for its age. The dash is in good shape, and the badge is intact. Driver A-pillar is missing, horn doesn't work, new power antenna is there but doesn't work, and car has no radio (gauges there instead).

Mechanically the car is sound. It has an idle surge at a dead stop when the idle switch is activated, but other than that runs flawless. It does need an alignment and new set of tires, as the ones on it are pretty much spent. A/C and cruise both removed by PO. The car is pretty quick even running on wastegate (10 PSI) pressure only. The MBC has been disconnected until I got around to tuning the car.

Clean California title in my name. Car is currently located in Pensacola, Florida, 32506. I’m willing to ship at buyer’s expense. Test drives welcome. Asking $5500 OBO. PM me with any questions. Thanks.
