Pontiac GXP

Has anyone seen the recent pontiac magazine ads where they are comparing the GTO to the 2005 G35 coupe, the 330CI, and Ford Mustang GT and all in manual. Then below it show the Pontiac Grand Prix GTX vs the 330I manual, G35 and Maxima auto. All are just engine comparos in the ad. I am personally kind of bothered what Pontiac is doing they are comparing a like apples to oranges the BMW, Infiniti and the Nissan are more luxury than the pontiac and I find it odd that the Vq35 sedans are all auto, maybe the auto more of chalenge for the GXP or maybe its because its an auto but then that does not explain why they choose a manual 330i. Also in what way is the GTO a competitor to the 330 and the Gcoupe? Too bad they are just going by straight line number and not handling times so Pontiac can show how well their fwd can tq steer. I am not in any way trying to dog on Pontiac or anything the GTO is a hot car at 400hp but come on choose more performance oriented competitors for the GTO? Ah best competitor for the GXP would be the Hemi powered 300C but I guess they had to make themselves look better. rant off

What about the Jeep commercials? They talk how it's faster than a BMW and quieter than a Jag. What they don't say is it's comparing against the slowest BMW and loudest Jag. Whoopdee friggen doo! But people buy into it. Sad.

yeah that jeep comercial bothers me too, a bunch of TT owners were like the driver didnt know how to drive the TT or if he did Jeep would have looked bad. I think they need to stick to cars more its class.
