Advice: Best Car around 22K
My brother is going to be purchasing a car this weekend and he has a budget of $22,000. He has just finished his freshman year at College and we just sold his Altima the other day. He really wants to buy the Mazda 3 SP23 edition (Navi, Leather, Moonroof, sport susupension, xenon, 17s, etc.). I think it is a pretty nice car. The college is about 4 hours away and the car will always be parked outside a college community. My question for you all is, if you only had 22k to spend on a brand new (he is not considering anything used) what would you buy.

I'd actually also recommend the Scion tC. He can get it very nicely equipped for under his $22K budget and, if he's interested, use the money he'd save on TRD upgrades. Just my two cents.

Hell no to the Scion TC. That car is a JOKE. Straight up chick car and its ugly as hell.

As a guy, i'd feel embarassed to drive that.

I'd take the money and use it towards a better car. Not something you'll regret after a few months.
