G35 Vs. S4 (2.7 bi-turbo)

My Girlfriend is buying a S4 2.7 bi-turbo here in the next week or so and was wondering stock for stock is she going to beat me or not? Now i know with just a little tuning she is going to spank me like theres no tomorrow. But untill then....will I be able to beat her???

Driver's race, but I believe the old body does 0-60 in 5.7 while the coupe hits it in 5.9.

But once again, it's a driver's race and who is hitting their shifts faster.

What year is it going to be? and is it stick or auto?

My boyfriend has two S4s one auto and one stick. they are both significantly modded so he will definitely kick my @ss if we were to race. However i'm also wondering what a stock S4 does? does anyone know the HP on lets say 2001 S4 (2.7 bi-turbo) ... and also what it does a 1/4 mile for?

Anyway here is a picture of my G and his S4s:

What tranny type. The manuals were waaay faster than the autos in that generation. Also, those S4s were terribly unreliable in that generation...

The 2.7 was rated at (I believe) 250hp. Mag times were published from low, low 14's to high 14's (stick). I don't know the times for the Tiptronic model.

Stock-for-stock it would be a driver's race (with ease of launch going to the Quattro), but with the turbo 6 hitting 300hp+ with only a chip upgrade, I would watch out.

S4's are the most underratted cars in the world. All my friend did, to his s4, was an intake , exhaust, and a chip that allows him to run 18PSI and he runs high 12's when he dumps the hell out of the clutch. Of course, he doesnt do it often , because of course, it murders his clutch. Those motors hold upto 600 WHP

yep S4s are crazy. My boyfriend just got his blue one a few months ago and hasn't tested it yet but the previous owner (as much as he can be trusted) gave us slips that show a 13.1 with 93 octane and 12.9s with 100 octane. Of course the car is modded here is what it has:

Engine:

- APR Tuned ECU unit with multiple user-selectable programs (via cruse control switch) - ALL OPTIONS (immobilizer, etc). Allows for selection of 'stock', 91, 93 and 100 octane programs on the fly

- Stratmosphere adjustable short shifter

Not really. Race her from a 40 mph roll and chirp the hell out of second. Let her worry about drivetrain loss from two differentials and 3593 lbs (+140 lbs), but be prepared for her wrath at home. They get tremendous off the line advantage from AWD and 258 ft/lbs available at only 1850 rpms. You have the weight, hp and torque advantage from a roll where awd advantage is negated.

my buddy only chipped his and ran high 13s. plus he wasnt a very good driver. i have a few vid of me racing him in my i35 at the tracks... if someone wants to host i'll send em.
