The GTR is an urban myth! Never going to happen!

I know Infiniti reg. GT-R, but thats because they are extending Infiniti over seas.

The US will never see the GTR its a pipedream and I've lost all hope!

In 2008 Lexus is coming with the all new Supra which was engineered by Toyota/Honda both companies for the 1st time got together to make this ultimate sports cars, expecting in USA mid 2007. Therefore i wouldn't be surprised if in next few years Infiniti drops the GT-R...

I don't believe that Toyota and Honda would collaborate on the next Supra. They are direct competitors, and I am sure Honda would have no intentions of bettering Toyota's image when they can be putting their time/money into R&D for the next NSX.

it's hard to believe honda and toyota of all companies would get together to create a sports car. That's like BMW and Mercedes combining their ///M and AMG powers to create a supercar. Come to think about it....it wouldn't be that bad. A car with the handling and dynamics of an ///M car and the brute engine of a AMG 65 engine. Now that's a pipe dream. GTR is a reality. believe it.

Yes. People are placing ordered at the dealership I'll bet that it will turn into sorta the sme situation as the Elise [just not as bad]. But surely a waiting list a few pages long will soon be comming into effect. The GTR will probably be shipped over faster than the Elise was - so it won't be a year or several years waiting on a car... But more than likely if you wait until th GTR is here you will be waiting a few months if you want certain options/colors.

Dont forget, the G is supposed to get upgraded to the G45 also - using the same V8 that is found in the FX45, Q45, and new M45. The G35 will be more of an entry or base model coupe while th G45 will be for people who want the NA power of a big V8 with a smaller price tag than the Grand Daddy GTR with its complex FI V6 and pretty steep price!
