2006 Toyota Avalon Limited

Got bored and went to check out the new 2006 Toyota Avalon. Man was the car nice. Took a test drive and its sliky smooth with 280hp. Interior is looking like the M35 but I guess everyone is trying to looking like the BMW 5 series nowadays. Its a lot bigger car then G35 for sure. When I sat in there I was reminded how wonderful my last cars was( a 97 BMW 740iL). If not due to the fact I get no service from Toyota, I would of traded my G for this bargain luxorius family sedan. By service I mean free loaner and shuttle service to and from home/work. I live out in Ventura with my wife and 2 kids. All my relatives and friends are either in LA or San Bernerdino so I get no free ride home. The last thing I want to do is wait in the lobby of the Toyota service dept like a bum. But I love my G too much for that even thoght its noiser and smaller but thats not why I bought my G. Its all about the pleasure of driving and performance. Sort of like why I love my BMW so much as an ultimate driving machine.

We also crossed shopped the Avalon with the G.

Being the same price as the G, Avalon is the better value.

It has more space, a better interior, it's quieter, and has better fuel economy. Doesn't drive too badly either. It's the best value. The best practical choice.

Yep... Zzz.

No, but for a solid, luxo A to B cruiser....
Pretty hard to beat.

For those who do not know what a real Avalon is, here is the link to it.
http://toyota.jp/crownroyal/index.html

Avalon is the Mercedes of Japan as Crown. Its got more luxo and gadget then Lexus USA. Lexus is consider a import in Japan as its soul purpose and design is for US market. Toyota stripped down the Crown for US as buyer in the US can't associate Toyota as a luxo brand.

Just a FYI.
