2008 Gt-r

I'm confused. Which car will be the one with the 470HP. Will it be the Infiniti Skyline GT-R or the Nissan Skyline GT-R which was at the Tokyo show? Let me know. Thanks.

"Unlike the Skyline, the GT-R will be designed as a sports car, not a coupe based off a sedan like the G35 Coupe. Although Nissan head Carlos Ghosn has confirmed the GT-R will be sold globally, the question is whether the Corvette-fighter will make it to North America as an Infiniti or Nissan -- or maybe even both. Ininfiti and Nissan are the same the only question is which brand the car will fall under when it arrives in the states. There is no set hp figures for the GTR as of yet.

So basically the car your talking about is the Nissan GTR Prototype there are no specs on it yet and no one knows if it will be badged as a nissan or an Infiniti when it comes here. Most likely an infiniti.

just so you know. the "Skyline" is a redesigned g35 with awd and all that stuff. the "GT-R" is a new model coming out by Nissan. check out www.gtr-proto.com for pics and some minor info.

I don't think the GTR is even a Skyline anymore. It's just the GTR.

BTW - the Skyline is not a redesigned G35 with awd. The Skyline is the G35 in Japan - both coupes and sedans.
