yea you most likely would whoop it. my supra (probly 280rwhp) takes it 0-60, and rolling. and i have turbo lag. should be an easy kill.

thats what i thought too. cuz i see people that cant smoke a M3 with a SC G coupe and the evo is faster then the M3.

what year evo?

i owned an 03 evo with 3" turbo back straight piped. from a dig this car will whoop your *** if he can launch it right. on a roll though the evo sucks. the powerband drastically dies off after 4k rpm.

id say w/o s/c you can beat an evo from a roll, jsut mkae sure hes no where near his powerband.

w/ s/c from a dig? buy some slicks or fat tires and launch the hell out of your car to gain the lead then you will hold or gain ground the entire race.

i ran an STI from like 30mph - 80 or so and didnt get beat too bad at all... i really think he put about half a length on me.... the guy pulled up next to me at the light we stopped at and asked for my mods. he was suprised that i had none. i really thought that thing would smoke me (i know it would from a stop)

u have a 6MT? cuz i have an 04 AT and my friends STI would rape me up and down when i was stock. CAI would lessen the kill but it was still bad

not happening.. There is no way possible you can take an evo or an sti with a F/Induced G. I dont get why everyone is trying to race the G's? Its slow as crap.

i raced an my bros 04 Evo IIIV and from at launch i hoped atleast a one car length then late ofcourse he caught up an smoked my A**

do you not realize that the evo has horrible DT loss? they have approx the same whp as the G and most are approx the same weight as the G. The only real advantage the evo has over a G is AWD and that amazing launch that pins u back in the seat.

a F/I G could easily take an Evo it will jsut be closer to the topend. give him then launch and then start reeling him in.

Got to agree here. EVO's suffer significant drivetrain losses (just as WRX's do). In addition, they have about the same drag coeficient as a brick - which means alot at high speeds. A stock EVO running a blown G35 would get killed from a roll. They'd probably be able to hold off a blown G for about a quarter mile (a stock EVO and blown G will run mid 13's in the quarter), but would be reeled in quickly after reaching 100mph.

A nicely modded EVO, however, would dispense with a blown G fairly easily. It seems like it only takes a few grand to get an EVO into the 11's.

Do YOU realize that an evo was meant for a rally and G was for touring? Yeah they might have the same hp but the evo is almost a second faster in the 1/4 mile. Are you telling me that S/Ced G will shave off a second in the quarter mile? tell me
