G35C 03 6MT or 92 R32 Type M

Alright guys, my good friend Ken Gushi just got a 92 R32 Type M, I just saw it last night at his house and He said there is another one for sale, 2 actually and my other friend is going to by the GTR one. So therefore there is only one left. I currently have a G35C 03 Brembo 6MT and Was wondering should I sell it and get the R32? The R32 is my favorite Skyline, and the registering will be taken care of by Ken for me. So give me your thoughts guys I am confused.

I don't dig the R32s...only R34s and up (new SL). The styling was VERY different.

As much as I like that series of Skyline, it's still a 13 year old car. I would think parts are expensive and not exactly easy to get. But if you've got money to spend and have the patience, it'd be pretty cool to have and experience. And it's always more fun to share the ownership experience with a friend who has the same.

Type M is a GTS-T, not a GT-R. It's a RWD 215hp RB20DET car. It doesn't even share the same body lines and front/rear ends as a GT-R. It's like a fat S13 Silvia.

That's not to say it's not a nice car, it's just no GT-R, and it'd be a big downgrade from a G35. If you do end up getting one, I'd recomend getting an RB25 or an RB26 with RB25 tranny. You'd really have to put a lot of money into it to make it into what I'd assume you want out of it.

Yea, I know it's a downgrade from a G35C but, Ken has a engine waiting for him and he said he can get me an engine as well. Besides, he has hook ups, and his dad knows the R32 inside out, and I can get it fixed there hopefully. The thing that worries me is what kind of problems do you think the car might have, and this is so vague but the problems can be anything huh? what would you guys do?

If I can sell my car it's probably worth 29K and I can buy the car for 8k and put 20k of mods in it. hmm.

Uh.... that's a 13 years old car, right hand drive and in need of an engine swap versus a G35C? Pretty simple question if you ask me. Both are Skylines, which one do you want? The old rusting underpowered one or the newer model with CD player and seat heater?

i wouldnt get it...; why not just save up and wait couple years for new GTR?
at least thats my plan even though i am a huge fan of skylines (except R33)
like someone said earlier...even tho it is still considered to be the "GODLY" car...it's just too old...; if you really like R32, promise to yourself not to regret spending 20g on that later on.
