IS350 Interior cheapness pics

Sorry guys, but the IS350 does look nice on the outside, well layed out inside, but the interior screams cheap!!!! See pics below. The doors have the same plastic on them as well. I mean it felt even cheaper than the older G35! When I got back to my G35 it felt much more refined. Even my friends said it before I did.

And pics are below of the IS300 interior bits. Love the gauges, but the middle console is CHEAP. The GS was so much better. The G35 now 05+ doesn't have painted plastic. It has real alum and high quality materials, unlike the new IS.

Sad to even see the Lexus owners argueing saying its high quality plastic, or its better made than the G35 even now. LOL.

I didn't get that impression when I first checked out the IS350 in person. Nothing exotic but it just seemed like something I would be happy with. The most I remember is how well the seats felt. Although, I might be considered easy to please and didn't study ever inch of the interior.

That is just a base model--ck these pics out:

http://lexus.com/models/is/gallery_interior_photos.html

I really like this car--even if it looks smallish on the outside.

The mags don't rave about the G's interior either:

Despite a mild material and design update to the G's interior, it's easy to imagine its wall of multi-tan, grained plastics having been sourced from a giant vat labeled "universal Japanese polycarbonate, just add tan pigment." MT

I am sure despite that slam--you still like your G.

What is that picture of 6969g35? Texan1, of course things look much nicer with "creative" lighting, rather than the flash in the pics posted here.

did you not notice the wood grain and navigation system? Geez, I love it when you guys think the G is the only nice car out there. It is a nice car in and out. I think many others (with an open mind) would agree. I knew I would enjoy the G b4 I even saw one inside and test drove it and I am sure I would enjoy this car--you see--I love cars--not just infiniti's.

I guess all the hot women on TV only look good b/c of "creative lighting" and makeup?

she is really really really really really really really UGLY with out makeup and
"creative lighting"

Bottom lines:

IS350 interior > G35 interior

IS350 engine > G35 engine

IS350 price > G35 price

Built quality: If the IS350 can go through 1 full year without developing rattles and squeaks, then I'll declare it's better than the G35.

You seem threatened by the is350--that is a base model--the pics I have enclosed DO NOT scream cheap as you say. I am glad you feel your interior is more refined (build yours up) but why do you have to knock down the lexus at the same time. Can't you say that yours is more refined imho, but the Lexus is nice too in upgraded form?
I like the Lexus and many on this board would agree. Your G is a car built by nissan/infiniti---be thankful the is350 is a hot car--it will only lead to a better, hotter g35 product in the future. Competition is great.
