Sedan comparo in Speed Magazine
Anybody seen the comparision in the December Speed Magazine between the G35, IS350 and 330i sedans? They refered to it in my Road & Track since its the same publisher, but its not available on-line. Just curious.

Nope. I believe it was 1) 330i 2) G35 3) IS350 (granted, my source is car and driver forums...)
http://www.caranddriver.com/idealbb/...?topicID=69407 The falling gracefully thing was a car and driver comparo with 1) 330i 2) IS350 3) G35 4) Audi A4? 5) CTS? 6) ?? (4th is probably right... not sure about the last 2. The contraversial comparo where 330i had a stability control malfunciton and the IS350 numbers were simulated. I think 6th, 7th etc were the Volvo S60R and the Saab 9-3, fwiw.
And ya, that was one whacky article!

I remember that article it clearly shows that they are bias towards BMW and Lexus period because they are newer designs if it's a article based on performance the numbers pretty much speak for itself granted the way the car handles to get those numbers is important as well but we all know the G is not underpowered or strictly all about speed the breaks, seats, VDC and cabin were all praised. Even when the 3 series was the old guy on the block it still won sedan comparos in spite of the fact the competition offered more.

In the C&D comparo, the TL was fourth, audi was fifth
http://www.caranddriver.com/article....&page_number=7 Ive said it before and i'll say it again, its not fair the g cars are up against the is350 and 330i. In dollar terms, they need to pit it against is250 and 325. And both of those guys are still way more expensive. They always marginalize the price difference, yes yer looking for the best performing car, but when you compare fully loaded sedans, lexus and bmw is over 8-10k higher. |

Here in Kanuckistan a fully loaded 330i or IS350 is as much as a fully loaded M35.
