What do you think?
Of the new Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT.
Wish I could afford a second car.

I recently drove one - we're selling our bmw in Feb so I'm looking for replacements. It's high on the list, I will say it definitely surprised and impressed me. It looked better on the inside than I thought it would, it handles really well, is fast, has a great awd system, is relatively inexpensive (compared to the competition), has a decent sound system, has decent reliabilty records, looks good... the only cons I could come up with is that the m/t is 5-speed and there is a slight turbo lag feel in between some gears.

If I had one, I could say I got somewhat of a little hard on for this car. To me it seems like such a great deal on a car!

i recently bought a 06wagon. i like it a lot. It's the 2.5ISE (blk on blk)
and is our babycarrier/wife's car. Only used for commute and grocery getter so didn't want to get the GT where i would need to pour premium gas and worse gas milage. also got so much incentives and tier1 discount. ![]() The 2.5I does not feel underpowered for our use..and the quality and ride is excellent. Subaru did a great job on this car and would recommend it to anyone looking for a wagon. the GT is very nice, but for the price ($30K+ out the door) you might want to look at other cars too unless you're a Legacy fanatic or something. |
