which X5 would you be getting? 3.0?
X5 is an amazing car, however htere is some lack in power if you get the 3.0 however if you get the 4.4 its a beast. amazing car inside and out. looks beautiful and BMW service/maintenance.
however FX is nice too and has alot more power compared to the X5.
test drive the X5 and even with the lack of power you may still love it

I wouldn't get an X5 right now...it's a great car, but the new body is coming right around the corner.

I'd also be looking into the Porsche Cayenne too.

I would suggest the VW Toureaug...but I think VW's are just gay.

Here's some spy shots..but they are pretty pointless cuz you can't see too much

I would take an FX over an X5 any day! The FX is just downright sexy!!

I made that decision a couple of years ago and bought an FX45. The X5 just didn't compare. At that time there were so many recalls on the X5 that it wasn't even funny. If you want something that you can actually take off road and drive in the snow, look at the Land Rover LR3. I own one now and it's a great SUV.

I like the FX. We chose it a few years ago over the X5, as the current model year's back seat is like a leather-wrapped 2x4. FX is comfy and, oh yeah, drives like a bat out of hell

it actually depends on whether u r getting the 3.0i for X5 or
4.8i lol..

Moneywise, i would get for the Fx35..since you will probably
have all you want from a X5 with less money
