New V6 Accord Coupe??

Thoughts? Might have to move out of the G and into something else and that car looked quite nice. Saw a black/black coupe, 244 hp V6, leather, Nav, etc etc fully loaded for $27K at the local dealer. Runs on regular and has just about the same punch. Sucks its a fwd but you can't have it all. Any experience or know anyone that has one?

Why do you have to move out of the G? Accords are nice but moving from a G, I would rather get in to a S2000 instead or something of equal like Lexus new IS.

the Accord coupe is nice, but is definitely going to be redesigned in the very near future, so i wouldn't do it. if the next generation Accord coupe looks half as nice as the brand new Civic coupe, it'll be worth waiting for.

Just not practical anymore. Drive 100 miles round trip to work every day so if I didn't garage it in the winter there would be a billion miles on her already. Fuel cost and would rather cut my payment in half and put the rest in retirement funds (don't plan on working past age 55). Have my whole life to drive cool cars, but right now with the mileage, payment, and future projections (retirement and kid in the next two years ) one of the toy's has to go. Have plenty of other pleasures to keep me busy.

I like the Accord V6. It's a nice car, but the only thing I hate about having an Accord is that if you're asian, you 150% live up to the stereotype. That's why I refuse to drive a Honda or Toyota.

But life comes first and if you're gonna be a family man, then you're right. Some of the toys have got to go. The G35 coupe was never meant to be a family car. The sedan though is a different story. You can have the best of both worlds with that one.

^^ true true and that may be an option. There is a silver 03 Sedan at a local dealer with a Stillen SC on it and they want 24K for it. Guy can't sell it cause the car dosen't come with a warranty (cause of the SC). May check that out too.

LOL yeah, a G sedan is looking more the ticket. Wonder if the stock 18" coupe wheels will fit a sedan

it should fit... only thing is, you can't rotate the wheels/tires due to the coupe's staggered fit setup...

The offset is wrong.

My brother just moved to the Accord Sedan (V6) etc etc....loves it. It's not quite as quick as the G but not bad at all. Sexy looks, good economy and good support and warranty.
It gets a big +1 from us.

Good point. I really like the new Civic, and will soon have one as a second ride for the winter. 4 doors is a must for me so the Sedan is the one I'll have, but it still has the looks, comfort, economy and a very nice interior.
My brother's Accord is very similar looking.
