the dreaded day.. need some help choosing new car.
Well,
I've finally come to the point where $681/month is too much for me to pay. Well I can still afford it, but it's like, f-, I need to save. So.. this is an awkward post, but I need to choose a new car. I have no preference, but I want a sedan.. would consider a couple but ehh.., somewhere around $20,000, give or take a little. Ofcourse as always with me, 0 down, so roughly something less then $400 a month. Why don't I save and put a down payment? Don't really care for it. I should be just about broken even on the car with the bank as i've made about 15 payments at 681 a month and I bought my 04' G35 Coupe, TB/Willow, Premium and Aero packages, fully loaded less navigation and satellite. Only mod's are 6000k hids. KBB priced it with good condition at 29,500 private party sale with 18,000 miles. These are my car choices thus far: Used 04 1.8T A4 with something around 30,000+ miles roughly falls into my price range. Used 04+ TL with 30,000+ miles. Used 05 accord with 40,000+ miles (cheapest option). Any other car ideas would be great. I'm not really sure what I want as of yet. Any ideas? Gonna miss my car mang... |

I had an IS300 before my G and they are nice. You should look into a certified pre-owned Lexus.

you could go with a 3 series. it'll be a bit older and with a few miles, but they are still very nice.

If you really want to save but still have a fun car get a Mazda3 or the Protege. TL's are selling for $20k now???

you will have hard time to find 04 TL/A4 for around 20~22k with less than 40k miles on it.

Honda Accord
Acura TSX, TL Lexus IS250? or old IS300? WRX? Nissan Altima, or Maxima? you can probably get a new 3.5 Altima TSX, good value for the money the interior is probably one of the best if not the best. decent amount of power nothing too crazy but it keeps you interested downside is that its a FWD but it is cheap for maintenance parts since hondas generally share parts (IE oil filter) Altima 3.5, power right there for the value, cant say much about the rest since i've never driven or own one Aucra TL, a little bit pricey but def can be an agressive looking car with wheels, lower, and lip (a-spec is a little expensive tho) but does have a HELLA NICE interior and the big thing handles. blue gauge cluster easy steering.. you'll feel like you're on a cloud switching from a G, but downside is that a new one only costs a little less then a G if u do get one you'll probably be making the same payments lol older IS300, good interior (on driver side), classy gauge cluster IMO.. good amount of power stock, takes off about the same as a G (1st & 2nd) you can get it in MT or button on steering wheel tiptronic auto.. kinda small in the back tho but fronts nice.. good car if ur looking to get something used but i'd also look into a fully loaded accord or a tsx before that.. just because i'd prefer a new car cant say much about the rest since i've never driven those around.. friend has a new accord and it as a NICE interior.. leather and everything navi is flush with the dash, good system... mmm coupe looks good. sedan is ugly tho
