World's First Supercharged Lexus IS350 - 408hp

This is the Blitz Supercharged IS350 which debuted at Tokyo Auto Salon 2006. I wonder who will be the first in the states.

Got info/pics from this thread: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/show...1&page=2&pp=15

RWHP would depend on the tune, yeah? 408HP could be a mild tune for reliability or out-of-the-box expectations with no other mods.

Kinda hard to tell without more details.

Depending on the cost, 408 is nothing to sneeze at. Beautiful looking package.

Very cool. Now, if they can just hook that engine up to a 6 speed manual, and set up the stability control so you can actually turn it OFF when you want, then I would consider buying one.

I wouldn't be suprised if it's at the crank. The compression ratio is much higher than the VQ (11.5.1) and they're probably only pushing 5 or 6 psi for safety.
