2007 Camry...
I know it's not a sports sedan, but with the new 3.5 liter V6 going into
it, I think it might be faster than a G35 (auto) in a straight line. Is that going to be a bit embarrassing to lose a stop light grand prix or a freeway onramp "race" to someone in a CAMRY??

Yes, it's going to be extremely embarassing. Either supercharge your g35 or stick drop a match in the gas tank to spare yourself from the horror!

It'll be a detuned version just like the RAV4 has.

In the Avalon, it runs to 60 in around 6.1-6.2 seconds. The lighter Camry therefore should do it in 6.0 or less. The pedestrian Camry will scoot!

d00d, that's harsh, a Camry nearly outrunning a G35... I never thought I'll live to see this day come....
