well, just went for a ride in a F430.

The only thing I can say is, this car is AMAZING. I know someone who recently bought one and saw it parked outside a mercedes dealership today as I was on my way to Staples. I figured I'd stop in, say hi, and check out the new ride since I havnt seen him since summer. We talked for a couple mins and I asked him if he had time to take me for a quick ride. He said yes, and took me out for 10 mins or so. This car is just unbeleivable. It completely blew me away. The interior is perfectly simple, and extremely sporty. The new F1 paddle shifting transmission is extraordinary. It's not your typical paddle shifting sequential automatic, it is manual transmission with electronic clutch. It rev-matches upon downshifts for you, and it shifts just as fast as an automatic. We were doing 100, and I swear I thought we were doing 60 max. The way the car handles, looks, performs, and SOUNDS, is just amazing. If you ever get a chance to get inside one, take it by all means.

I dont know about anyone else, but I've maxed out my G at 155 mph, and not only did it take a while to get there, but i didnt dare move the steering wheel an inch. This guy said he went down this road that I have been down a lot. It is very wide (2 lanes in 1 direction), and has a couple very wide bends. He said he went 150 down that road!! Max I have hit on it in the G was 110, and that was when I was WOT the whole way.

When I got to staples I wanted to push the easy button and get one! (ha...ha...ha)

Sometimes after people get into their own cars after a joyride in a really nice car, they think their car is crappy, or worse than when the just left it 10 minutes ago. I did not feel this, although, obviously I felt like my car was a little slow at first, I was still just as happy with it as I was before.

Anyway, just wanted to share my experience, sorry I couldnt get any pics.

Nice. I nearly creamed myself just seeing one up close. I can't imagine how I would feel taking a ride in one.

rode in one myself as well. the F430 absolutely blows the doors off the 360 and the 355.

a former coworker of mine always thought he was the $hit with his 355. even when i sat in it, i wasn't impressed. the 360 was very very slick, but like i said before, the F430 is sick, just plain sick

Wow, that is awesome. The sound of the engine alone would be enough to get a woody! I've never been in any exotic car like that, but can well imagine it was AMAZING!!

Thanks for sharing.

Lambos and Ferarri's have awesome engine noises, but my personal opinion for the best sounding one is the Carerra GT. That noise made my blood boil when I took a ride (as passenger) in it...

Mastermind, I would agree. The guy that took me for a ride in the F430 also keeps a Carerra GT at his house. It is his friends, but his friend keeps it at his house. He let me into his garage and started it up for a minute, and it sounded so sweet. I did not get a ride in it though, unfortunatly.

On a side note: they totalled the Carerra GT when driving agressivly, so his friend just went out and bought another one...good thing he doesnt have any spare change lying around or anything...

You don't need any fancy job to do that - just need insurance!
